Tour Overview
Discover the wilderness of Wadi Rum on a 3-hour horseback riding adventure guided by local Bedouin horsemen. This experience combines iconic desert scenery with quiet trails and wide open views.
Your ride typically begins from Wadi Rum Village. During the tour, you will visit:
- Sand Dunes – a large area of golden dunes piled against the mountains, fun to climb and perfect for photos.
- Khazali Canyon – a deep, narrow canyon known for its ancient rock inscriptions.
- Little Rock Bridge near our camp – a spectacular natural rock arch with panoramic desert views.
Before heading to the camp, you will enjoy approximately 30 minutes of free riding time to ride at your own pace. The tour ends with check-in at Beyond Wadi Rum Camp.
Late arrival option: If you arrive in the late afternoon (less than 3 hours before sunset), you can do the tour the next morning after breakfast. In this case, the ride can start from the camp and end at Wadi Rum Village.

We are committed to community-based tourism in Wadi Rum. Kindly note that all tours we arrange and book for you must be handled by the Bedouin of Wadi Rum (camels, horse riding, trekking tours, and 4WD vehicles) in compliance with Wadi Rum Protected Area regulations.
Payments for tours handled by the Bedouin are delivered directly to them to support local families and preserve traditional desert culture. Our role is to act as organizers and coordinators, ensuring smooth arrangements and a high-quality experience for our guests.
